It’s like Carfax, it’s possible that leases turn into purchases and count as owners.

Thanks! Didn’t know my car was repossessed! And it only had 1 owner before me. I wanted to find if it was a lease, but couldn’t tell me. But thanks none the less! This is great!

Cool! My miata is what the guy who sold it to me said. That said...my mechanic said part of it was respreayed at some point, and there are some painting flaws.

Interesting. I put in my own car, and it came back with “1 accident,” which I expected, since I had an insurance repair done to the driver side door when someone backed into me in a parking lot two years ago.
BUT- The one accident they have on record is for passenger door damage in 1992. The previous, original owner told me “no accidents” when I bought the car from him in 2011.
